Steve Henrikson, Land Specialist, GRI
Steve was raised on a grain and livestock farm in LaSalle county Illinois. Growing up Steve worked on the family farm and hunted upland game, squirrels and waterfowl.
While working at the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station for 23 years, Steve managed over 500 acres of land around the power plant which was in the Conservation Reserve Program. He gained vast experience in habitat management practices, providing cover for wildlife by planting native grasses and food plots. Steve utilized the same habitat management practices on a farm he purchased along the Vermilion River in 1992.
Steve has been an active member of Pheasants Forever since 1995, including serving as the LaSalle County Chapter president 1997 thru 1999. Being an avid Deer hunter for over 30 years Steve has harvested over 60 whitetails with both the bow and gun. He also has hunted the “Long Beard Tom” turkey for many years.
After retiring from the power company Steve attained his Sales Associate license and has been in the business since January of 2003 selling farm, commercial and residential properties. Steve is also a graduate of the Realtor Institute earning the GRI designation. Now residing in Springfield Illinois, Steve will be a definite asset with the sale or purchase of your farm/recreational land in central Illinois.
