Shane Yearian
With over 25 years and thousands of hours chasing Whitetails, Shane has been very fortunate in taking 15 animals that make the Pope and Young minimum. At the early age of sixteen, Shane was only interested in trophy class bucks. Early in his hunting career, he absorbed anything and everything he could that would teach him how to hunt mature Whitetail deer. Shane has used this knowledge to outsmart some of his best deer, three that push the 170 mark and one that scores 186". His favorite buck to date is a 155 class eight with four or five sticker points. Shane found the buck in early June. With studying topo maps, monitoring the buck's movement from a distance, and using his knowledge from past encounters, he was able to arrow the buck on opening morning of Illinois early bow season. 2010 came to be Shane's 5th year of selling Land in Illinois and one of his best years hunting to date. In September he traveled to Arizona to harvest a great 6x6 Bull Elk with his bow and in early October harvested a 6-7 year old buck that scored right at the 160 mark. Later that year on his own farm he was able to put all the pieces together on another 6-7 year old buck named Lucky. This is one of his most memorable bucks to date not only because it his biggest but he was able to take his first deer with a gun that he got from his uncle Dale's benefit a few years ago. His uncle who loved the outdoors unfortunately passed away from cancer and is missed by all who knew him.
Shane was also very fortunate to take this knowledge to a higher level in February of 2003. Packing everything he owned and heading West, he had landed a job with the top Bow manufacturer in the world, Precision Shooting Equipment (PSE) located in Tucson, Arizona. Shane started in the Marketing Department doing catalog design, logos, and ad layout. Soon after, he moved over to help in the Video Department. There he was once again blessed with trips all over the world (British Columbia, Africa, and Australia to name a few) to shoot video for PSE's "Today's Bowhunter" television show that ran on the Outdoor Channel. Shane occasionally
was asked to use his hunting skills on camera for the show, and can be seen on a couple of PSE's famous DVDs like "Whitetail Fever 4". Moving back to IL in 2006 he now hunts and video's for Lone Wolf's Adrenaline Junkies that can be seen on The Sportsman's Channel with his good friend and colleague Kyle Wieter.
Shane is now using his extensive hunting knowledge to bring you some of the best hunting property in Illinois. If you've ever dreamed of hunting that once in a lifetime deer on your own piece of land, or if you someday want to chase those big strutting Tom Turkeys with your grandkids, then feel free to contact Shane Yearian at any time.
